By clicking SUBMIT I understand that: no client will be placed in a group without registration and payment prior to the start of group. Payments are due in full before the start of each session. If we do not have a minimum of three students per group, the group may be cancelled. TAFA is an out of network provider and does not submit insurance claims. Students are placed in groups depending on age and level of ability. In some cases, a student may not be ready for group. Students will be assessed by the instructors and additional recommendations will be made to prepare the student for future groups participation.
This session will address the Four Steps to Communication and The Levels of Friendship Pyramid and their application to real-world interactions for teenagers.
Monday sessions will serve as priming and practice to prepare for Wednesday’s community activity. Group members must attend the Monday instructional component in order to participate in the Wednesday Community Activity. No additional purchases are required, however there is an admission fee of $9.75 for Golf N’ Stuff.
Monday Instructional Component: June 5, 12, 19, 26 from 11:00 - 12:00 at TAFA
Wednesday Community Activity Component:
June 7: Bookman’s at 3330 E. Speedway Blvd from 11:00 - 12:00p
June 14: Game Stop at 2910 N. Campbell Ave from 11:00 - 12:00p
June 21: UA Student Union from 11:00 - 12:00p. Meet at Mountain Ave entrance
June 28: Golf N’ Stuff at 6503 E. Tanque Verde Rd from 11:00- 12:30p (in order to allow time to play a round of miniature golf)
**Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from each group meeting (TAFA and Community Activity locations)**
